The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has announced a raft of sanctions against five individuals – three players and two umpires – for serious breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program, including match-fixing, manipulation of scoring data and failure to cooperate with investigations.
Intelligence provided through IBIA’s alert network and our members’ collaboration played a key role in supporting these investigations and delivering these decisive outcomes.
This case once again demonstrates the power of cooperation between the regulated betting industry and sports bodies in tackling corruption and protecting the integrity of tennis.
